Editorial governance

How FixLookup reviews and publishes technical information.

Publication depends on traceable evidence, an explicit applicability boundary, and a safety review.

Source preference

Manufacturer manuals, manufacturer support pages, and official service material are preferred. Reputable technical sources may be considered only when primary documentation is unavailable and the limitation is made clear.

What verified means

Verified means FixLookup has editorially reviewed the record, its cited sources, and its safety boundary. It does not mean the manufacturer reviewed, approved, or endorsed the FixLookup page.

Compatibility is evidence-led

A model or model family is linked only when an authoritative source supports that relationship. Shared problem guidance must not be treated as proof that every step applies to every dishwasher.

Review and freshness

Verified guides and sources carry a last-reviewed date and review interval. Review-due metadata supports scheduled rechecking; records are not silently treated as current without that metadata.

Corrections

Suspected errors can be reported through the corrections channel. Reports should identify the page, the exact statement, and an authoritative source when available.
